Carrollwood Compounding Center and Pharmacy

I was expecting a medication to be shipped for my cat. I didn't see it in mailbox but thought maybe it was still taking awhile to be delivered. It was time for me to leave for my trip so I went. I expected the medication to be in the mailbox when I arrived, but it wasn't. I called this pharmacy to inquire about where my cats medication was. Instead of getting a kind person that would happily look into for me, I was met with a rude person that seemed to scoff at me and say I "should" have called them 2 weeks ago and insinuating that this is all on me for not checking on it sooner and seemed to be put off that I was calling them 2 weeks after it was shipped. The package is obviously lost. Wen I asked about a refund or replacing the lost package, the lady on the phone seemed bothered to look into this since 2 weeks had passed and gave the feeling that it's my fault and that I'll likely not recieve a refund or replacement of medication. It's okay if I don't. I wouldn't use this pharmacy due to feeling so judged by lady on the phone.

The doctor who prescribed my HRT suggested I get the prescriptions filled here and I'm so glad she did. I'd never used a compounding pharmacy before, so I was a bit hesitant and didn't know what to expect. The staff were all extremely friendly and patient. My medications were ready quickly and I'm impressed by the quality and ease of use of the dispensers (these particular meds are gels/creams). They provided very clear written directions and the containers were well labeled. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that they proactively provided a universal claim form that I can submit to my insurance. (They don't process insurance claims which is understandable - they'd probably have to devote two people full time if they did). The prices were extremely reasonable - I'd used an online service (Winona) previously and these prescriptions cost me about 35% less. They will also ship for free. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Today was the first time of me using this pharmacy for my Ketamine prescription, they made the process extremely easy for me, and they answered every question I had and were very nice to me. I even asked them about medication for my RLS problems that I was having, and they were generous enough to give me a sample of something for that! The previous pharmacy that I dealt with made me lose faith in finding a good pharmacy that would not judge and would actually cater to my needs, and the ladies in this office showed me that there are amazing people out there that are very helpful and are willing to go above and beyond to help you ❤️
