Great independent pharmacy in the Financial District! Super convenient location near Wall Street, and their free/same-day delivery has saved me so many times when I'm stuck at work or home. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and patient—they've sorted insurance issues quickly and even caught a potential med interaction once. Walk-ins for vaccines are easy too. Only reason not 5 stars is it can get a bit backed up during lunch rushes (typical downtown), but service is still way better than chains. Highly recommend Downtown Pharmacy!
By far one of the best old school pharmacies in Manhattan insofar as treatment of their patients like family with new school like technology, they make everything from insurance to delivery to your home seamless. There have been times where they have delivered to my home. Multiple times a day, not only my pharmaceuticals but also medical supplies. They have a wonderful selection. And they can get anything in within 24 hours. Do yourself a favor. Ever skip the line at those big impersonal, national pharmacies and do your business with downtown. You won't be sorry. We've used them for the past three years. And We are going to be customers for life.
Wonderful service!! We needed to find a resource that could give my disabled, housebound husband vaccinations. Jon from Downtown Pharmacy was great - prompt, communicative, friendly and courteous - I 100 percent recommend them to anyone needing in-home service!
The people that work that treated me differently bc I’m not one of there upper class clients and they took they’re time filling my prescription even though I’m in a lot of pain. They told me it would take 10 minutes and after 10 minutes passed they said it was being prepared and now it will take 10 minutes. They do not respect people’s time and I will not return there’s
Quite surprised with unprofessionalism and unhelpful behavior displayed by the pharmacy staff. I've had multiple instances where questions for the pharmacy were met with unprofessionalism. No matter how polite and succinct the communication to pharmacy staff is framed, I am always met with disdain. Never experienced that in other pharmacies in the city, including ones not part of a chain (i.e. CVS). Will rather go to Tribeca Apothecary and even HealthSource Pharmacy uptown to get better service.
