So happy to have one of the leading prolotherapy people in the country nearby. The staff is great and Dr Reeves is so proficient I had almost full body treated and he is so thorough and precise at what he does. He’s been doing this for decades. Not new to the therapy, an absolute pro. He’s written so much of the research on it so don’t doubt his ability or testimonies here. Bed side manner is top notch. I hope someday insurance will cover this type of treatment so more people can access this healing.

Using PRP on my back has significantly reduced pain. I was in so much pain I had to lie in bed mornings and move slowly getting out of bed. I no longer have this issue. Some days I go through the day before I realize I don't hurt. Dr Reeves is so knowledgeable and explains what he's doing as he goes. He offers prayer before he begins. I am so happy with my results. Thank you, Dr. Reeves.

In 2010, I couldn’t lift my right arm above my shoulder. I consulted an orthopedic surgeon, who informed me that my only hope was a total shoulder arthroplasty (i.e., replacing the bony parts of my shoulder with metal prostheses), followed by six months of physical therapy. Three nonsurgical prolotherapy treatments by Dr Reeves restored 90% mobility to my shoulder—and no physical therapy needed. This year (July 3025) I’m back in his clinic to treat my left shoulder and for booster treatment of my right shoulder. My aunt and adult son also had their arthritic shoulders repaired with prolotherapy. Although the insurance companies consider prolotherapy to be “experimental’, it actually dates all the way back to Herodotus.

My story is similar to the other ones posted here. I was in chronic pain for over 2 years, had visited several doctors including KU and other major hospitals in the region and had no success. Being a healthcare provider myself, I understand the importance of providing evidence based research. As I was looking into different options, I found Dr. Reeves' website. I was impressed with how involved and up to date he was with all the latest information. On my first visit with him, he was able to give me an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment options. None of the previous doctors I visited could give me an accurate diagnosis, let alone any treatment options. I have followed his recommendations and the results have been consistent with what he predicted. After 3 treatments, I feel the problem has resolved 80% of the way, and I feel if I continue the treatment, there is a great chance I may completely heal. My quality of life has improved significantly because of his treatment and recommendations. One particular thing about Dr. Reeves that I find admirable is he offers to pray with his patients before treatment. Being a person of faith, I appreciate this unique aspect of how he strives to help his patients in every way he can. Having worked in healthcare for over 10 years both as a healthcare provider and as someone who owns and manages several clinics, I have a good sense of what makes a good doctor. Someone who is highly skilled, is passionate about what they do, and has good character. Dr. Reeves is exceptional in all of these areas.

Oh Dr Reeves. What unique practice you are in! I do wish I had sought out your care- years earlier. This note might be too long for some, but so many things have changed for me since beginning treatment. It is a rare event for a person to go to a Dr’s office and feel so very cared for. The office staff has the same response of concern and listening, because they are treating you as a whole person. I will tell the basics for why I went to Dr Reeves in the first place. There are so many stories of how this has changed my life as a wife, mom, sister, grandmother and friend. When I arrived at Dr Reeves office, for my first exam, he took the time to just sit and listen to my history (it took probably an hour) he typed as I spoke so he would have all the information accurately! My whole body hurt most of the time. I couldn’t turn my neck left to right without pain, and walking, up and down stairs, housekeeping, all of it hurt. I was seeing a Neurology Dr and having Epidural shots in my neck because I could not turn my head to the right or left more than an inch. The epidural shots were effective for about two weeks and then all the stiffness returned. The insurance co-pay on this treatment was about $500, so, pretty expensive for two weeks of comfort. I went to see Dr Reeves because the Neurology Dr. Whom had done my epidural treatments suggested I find a good neck surgeon- for a fusion! I did not want a neck fusion. So a good friend recommended I see Dr Reeves. At the time I arrived at his office I was seeing many different Drs. Yes. I had talked to my General Practitioner to get names of specific Drs for many different things. I was seeing a Hand Surgeon for my thumbs which were numb much of the time, and I had shooting pain up my forearms. I figured I needed surgery for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. (Self diagnosis!). I used to garden quite a bit— plant flowers, bushes, pull weeds, all the fun gardening things, all of that stopped. I was seeing an Orthopedic Dr for knee pain, I got new orthotics for my shoes, just to try something… anything, for relief from the dull ache of walking. I had a swollen ankle that had not healed after several sprains. My right ankle area looked like a puff of fluid and skin,- the ankle bone was barely visible because the swelling had not gone down, even a year later. I said to myself, “well, sprains take a long time to heal”. I saw an Ankle Surgeon that was willing to do surgery on my ankle and remove half of my normal ligament and scrape out all the damaged tissue. I did not have the surgery, and now, since seeing Dr Reeves, my ankle looks and acts like it did when I was 20 years younger. I have been seeing Dr Reeves for over 9 years. The first year, I saw him as often as I could for shots (whole body treatment because I had so many areas that needed treatment, it was more efficient to get treated all at once). After that year, I could space out my visits and get treated for specific areas, maybe once a year. Now I have the luxury of walking, stairs, household chores, and generally living with very little pain- I am getting older so I’m bound to have some aches- but if an area of my body starts showing signs of distress, I make an appointment with Dr Reeves to catch it early. Dr Reeves, you have changed my life in so many ways. Thank you for your persistence in the area of Prolotherapy. I really hate to think of where I would be without it. I'm so Grateful, Ruth Dwyer
