Gateway Medical Pharmacy | Long Term Care and Compounding Pharmacy

Don't bother asking this pharmacy to quickly refill your meds because they won't. I called them 1 hour before I needed to urgently pick up medicine. I was told " it'll be ready in an hour". I show up an hour later and they haven't even started to fill my prescription. Don't lie to people telling them you can refill meds quickly when you can't. I'm always fighting this pharmacy about refilling my meds on time.

I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. Why did I not just go across the street to Fred Myer's pharmacy?? Okay, I go to urgent care because I am very sick and I come to the pharmacy and wait 30 minutes, only to be told that they have to have the doctor approve my cough medicine because of a certain medication I'm on. I have never ran into this problem before. So here I go down to the urgent Care get the doctor to call and approve it and then I'm told to wait for them to fill it and have to wait for other medicine to be filled. It's been over an hour now why wasn't the other medication done then?? Never again. Well I'm glad to update to you guys they did apologize but I still feel the way I feel, I won't go back

Don't know what happened here but big red flags. I've used this pharmacy exclusively for years. Had my dr send in my regular prescription today and got a call in the afternoon full on berating me for sending them in. "We ALREADY TOLD YOU we don't fill this medication!" I told the tech that conversation never happened. No one talked to me about it and I've been getting it filled there for years with no issues. I call back and ask for someone higher to speak to because WOW I've never been treated this way there. They're normally very nice and polite. Owner gets on the phone and claims I haven't had a prescription there in a year minus one pick up recently. How? I get refills every month and always from them. They defended the way the tech spoke to me even though the "notes saying we already told you this" weren't there either. So, how are they tracking things if none of my refills were documented? Why are they calling regulars to reem them out about "notes on the account" that don't exist? This used to be such a reliable pharmacy. Recommended it to everyone. Not anymore.

I receive such exceptional service and compassionate care from this pharmacy, I travel some distance to get here now. It used to be as simple as calling to see if a refill could be available by break and my walking down the stairs for it. I have tremendous gratitude for Mary and staff. When they implore that I feel better as I leave, I do a little. Their kindness reaches that level.

I received the most painful vaccine jab here so bad It made me jump a bit. Will definitely find a new place for vaccines
