I used to be terrified to go to the chiropractor. One day, they came to my job and offered free massages, and the two ladies who came were some of the sweetest and most welcoming people I had ever met. I agreed to try it out with an X-ray and one adjustment… and that was 10 months ago. Since then, I’ve been going once a week. Every single person in that office makes you feel like family, and I truly look forward to my appointments. Dr. Kemp is so knowledgeable and welcoming. Because of his care, I’m sleeping better, I have fewer headaches, I can keep playing sand volleyball five times a week, and I’m better able to handle the stress of being a teacher

WARNING: If You Do Not Speak English, Do NOT Go Here My mother had an appointment scheduled here two weeks ago. When she arrived, she called me because she does not speak English. I agreed to help translate over the phone. I explained this to the staff member checking in patients and told her I would be translating. She responded that she wasn’t sure if that was going to work and told my mom to take a seat, but didn’t clearly communicate that to her directly. I said, “I’m sorry, I’ll translate to my mom to have a seat.” The check-in woman seemed frustrated and upset that my mom arrived 45 minutes early. I told her again that I would tell my mom to sit down, but I didn’t understand why translating over the phone would be a problem. She said she would check and call me back. Fifteen minutes later, my mom called again, and this same staff member got on the phone. She informed me that I was not allowed to translate over the phone because it was a HIPAA violation. I told her that was not true — that is not how HIPAA works. I have worked in a doctor's office for seven years and I know that what she was saying was false. Patients are absolutely allowed to have family or trusted individuals translate for them if they choose. I then told her no problem — I would have my little sister go in person to help translate. She then claimed that, according to the Social Security Department, neither family nor friends are allowed to translate. Again, I told her that was not true. She began cutting me off while I was trying to speak and would not let me say anything. I said, “Let me talk and stop cutting me off — I’ve let you talk and now it’s my turn.” She then yelled over the phone and said, “Oh my God, is she for real right now? Is this really happening?” That was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I made it clear to her that my mom showed up to her appointment, and they were the ones refusing to see her — not the other way around. She replied “Okay.” After this, I called the Social Security Department myself and explained what was happening. They spoke to this same woman directly. The Social Security representative told her that my little sister could translate in person, if they just gave her a moment to get there. Then, the woman changed her story, saying her supervisor told her it wasn’t allowed — which is not what she had originally told me at all. The Social Security Department clarified that translation over the phone was not preferred, but that did not mean family or in-person interpreters were not allowed. The staff member then claimed she didn’t know how it would even work with someone translating over the phone because of "too much back and forth" — again contradicting her earlier claim that it was a HIPAA violation. At that point, it was clear to me that she kept changing her story, telling me one thing and telling the Social Security Department something else. She was rude, unprofessional, and lied multiple times throughout the interaction. If you don’t like your job and didn’t want to see my mother, then just say that — don’t hide behind false policies or make up rules. This experience was unbelievable. I left the situation truly feeling like my mother was being treated unfairly — and honestly, I did question whether the way she was treated had to do with the fact that she does not speak English. If you do not speak English or need a translator, I strongly recommend you do NOT go to this office.

My athlete daughter experienced a midseason foot injury (sesamoid) that refused to heal, despite 12 weeks of crutches and boot. The doctors were less than helpful, and advised such treatments as "suck it up" and "wait for the off season for surgery". Not being happy with that, I began my own research on PubMed and stumbled into the world of stem cells, especially in regards to this particularly hard to heal injury. We were lucky to find Dr. Kemp and were scheduled for the injection within a week. My daughter felt incredibly comfortable with the staff, and they explained the process, (both the procedure itself, and the mode in which the cells work) in a way that made sense to a 13 year old. The Process: day 1: the injection itself was painful due to being in the bottom of the foot, but relatively quick and easy. Back into a boot and fully on crutches for 3 weeks week 1: not feeling much of a difference, Foot still hurts all the time. Very nervous that nothing was going to happen. Starts aching worse at the end of week 1 week 2: foot feels "weird", "hurts differently", something is definitely happening. By the end of the week that is fading. week 3: FINALLY PAIN FREE after 15 weeks of treatment and over a year of living with the pain!! WEEK 4: Returned to practice! and 4 weeks to the day after the injection, flew to Florida to PLAY 5 GAMES OF ICE HOCKEY!! We can't say enough good things about the experience! Obviously the injection itself felt like a manna from the heavens for us, but beyond that, the staff was communicative, friendly, knowledgable, and were obviously incredibly passionate about their work. 12 OUT OF 10!!

I’ve been going to Dr. Kemp since 2019. My initial lower back pain was alleviated and I’ve been going ever since for monthly alignments which have had great benefits for my overall health and wellness. Dr. Kemp and his team do an amazing job and I would recommend them to anyone!
