Mt Olympus Compounding

This pharmacy is honestly the best pharmacy I have used. The customer service is beyond amazing!! Also they are always right on it when it is time for my refills and they text me to let me know they are ready. I am not a person who normally leaves reviews but I know people do read them when they are looking for services etc so I want people to know just how amazing this pharmacy and the people who work there really are!! If I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would! Thank you Mt. Olympus pharmacy!! You are all truly the best!!

I recently switched my prescriptions to Mt. Olympus Pharmacy. While their customer service was responsive, I was disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding my insurance coverage. I received a text stating that my prescriptions were not covered by insurance. Since we have decent coverage, I called my insurer to verify (unfortunately not until after I gave them permission to fill, which is on me) —and they confirmed that my medications were covered. When I went to pick up the prescription, I discovered that the pharmacy had in fact run it through insurance, but chose not to use it because the reimbursement rate was too low. I completely understand that, as a smaller pharmacy, they have the right to make that decision. What’s not okay is being told that my prescriptions weren’t covered when the truth was that they simply opted not to accept the insurance payment. Had they been upfront about this from the start, I could have made an informed decision instead of paying out of pocket for something that would have been covered elsewhere. The two-star rating reflects this lack of honesty. Transparency matters, and I hope they improve communication with customers moving forward.

I have been using Mount Olympus pharmacy for about 8 years and have had a seamlessly wonderful experience. The staff is thorough and kind. I’m so appreciative of the text option and their immediate responses regarding refills and pick up. I’d recommend them to anyone who cares about quality service and genuine care!

Super impressed!! I travel for work so have dealt with multiple pharmacies over the last 5 years. I hadn’t used Mt. Olympus until a few days ago and I couldn’t believe how amazing their customer service is. There was an issue with my provider and insurance and Olympus let me know asap and has kept in close communication (through text messages!!), giving me updates and information. I can’t tell you how much of a difference it makes, when dealing with chronic illness, to have a pharmacy with this level of customer service. I will be using them for all of my prescriptions from now on and 100% recommend them. Thanks again Mt. Olympus compounding!!

Mt Olympus is a great pharmacy! They have lowered their pricing to be more competitive with other compounding pharmacies in the area. They go above and beyond to make sure their patients are taken care of. The pharmacist even calls after you have received your medication to make sure you are doing okay and to see if you have any questions.
