My Path Medical: Katherine Lantsman, MD

Like so many of her patients, I was someone who had seen multiple doctors for chronic symptoms that had lasted for over a year and which had seemingly baffled multiple doctors (including some who gave me prescriptions that I believe made the problem worse). Dr. Lantsman was the complete opposite in every way. She is a great listener and very astute and is the first doctor who has actually found prescriptions and supplements for me that have significantly improved my symptoms and now have me on a strong path to recovery. I am so grateful to her and cannot recommend her enough!

i’ve seen multiple doctors at mass general hospital. i’ve seen multiple rheumatologists as well as other doctors who dismissed my pain and my symptoms because it didn’t align with what they believed. it didn’t matter how much research i brought in, it didn’t matter how much i pleaded for help or how much worse i got. Dr Lantsman believed me and put so much effort into helping me. she finally found i have Babesiosis. if it weren’t for her, i would continue to be in agony maybe even for the rest of my life. i haven’t started treatment just yet, but i already feel like she has saved my life. there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel for me. Dr Katherine Lantsman is an amazing doctor but most importantly an amazing person who listens and cares. which is hard to find in a doctor these days.

Dr. Lantsman has saved my life with amazing care and deep understanding of complexities of disabling illness. She is always available and caring and has nurtured me and my family members back to health. I am deeply grateful for her wonderful care. Doctors like Dr. Lantsman are hard to come by, and I feel fortunate to be in her care.

Dr. Lantsman is an expert in her field. Lyme Disease has been a reoccurring issue my entire life and I would be completely hopeless in the Boston-area without her. Although patients need to submit claims for her appointments, it is worth every penny to be healthy, able bodied, and Lyme Disease-free. She does evidence-based diagnostics and is the best Lyme doctor I have ever seen. She is amazing. Can't say enough great things. **Highly Recommended**

Dr Lantsman is a fantastic doctor with a practical approach based on research and her experience. She has a wealth of knowledge. She has great bedside manner and listens and adapts her treatment based on feedback, unlike other doctors who try to force you into one of their boxes. It was refreshing to have a doctor who wants to find a solution and understands that with diseases like Lyme there is no easy one size fits all solution. And best of all, she gets great results. I have recovered from debilitating Lyme.
