OC Wellness: Michael Grossman, MD

I wrote this email to Dr. Grossman after spending 3.6k on treatments that did not work. I feel cheated honestly and this is the only clinic that does bellafil on any area other than the nose. The person who invented the "nonsurgical nosejob" Dr. Rivkin only uses this for the nose. There is a reason why. Dear Dr. Grossman (Bellafil) It was effective for the nose and that's why I returned. I asked Maureen if she thought it would be effective for the cheeks, chin, jawline, and shadow area near chin. She said yes. It's not. It's made for small treatment places because it only adds so much volume. Anything with a big surface area like cheeks and chin, it doesn't do much if anything at all. I kept thinking that it would be like the nose, and if I went for more rounds it would work. Over time and finally I realized that no, it doesnt work for large surface area. There is no way you can get it to build like the gel. Yes I got them at a discount but they did absolutely nothing for me anywhere other than the nose so I wasted money(almost 4k) I think at least a partial refund would be fair and ethical. Also, you claim that you gave me some bellafil at no cost but that was because I had purchased a syringe and barely used any of it the first visit and you tried to charge me for a whole other syringe on the second visit. I pointed out to you that that was unfair and then and only then did you agree that I shouldn't be charged. You even insisted on charging me a little for the followup but it did not make sense to me. Everyone knows that when you're building up the nose it takes a first visit and a followup and that is what most doctors do, including D.r Rivkin. He never charged me for the followup and when the volume came back down fast he offered another syringe....and these doctors always save the remaining bellafil for the checkup. Im thoroughly dissapointed that you would reccomend bellafil to your valued customers in areas besides the nose, and that you try to charge customers for a new syringe the second visit, In my case, I only used part of the syringe (probably less than half) my first visit. You are the only clinic that does this. I hope you will reconsider and do what is right. Thank you for response and for reading.

Dr. Grossman is truly the best physician I’ve ever worked with — and without a doubt one of the most knowledgeable doctors in all of Orange County. From the moment you walk into his Newport Beach office, you feel cared for, heard, and taken seriously. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, never rushes, and approaches each concern with both expertise and genuine compassion. If you’re looking for a doctor who is not only exceptionally skilled but also truly cares about his patients, Dr. Grossman is the one. Newport Beach and OC are lucky to have him!

Dr. Grossman is amazing. I first came to him to fix my filler that another doctor had misplaced. He was so genuine and is SO good at his craft. Been coming back for Botox, under eye filler and bellafill ever since. Somehow I feel like I have no swelling and bruising when Dr. G injects me but always have it with other doctors. He’s really skilled at filler placement. I tell all my friends and family to come to him now.

Such a wonderful experience with the very kind, Dr. Grossman!! He answered each and every question I had, quite thoroughly! The office staff is thee best- Sean, Delina, Caroline and the amazing Maureen! (I took note of everyone’s name for this review:)) My testosterone procedure went very smoothly and Dr. Grossman is super knowledgeable about all the latest and greatest in health and wellness. I am so thankful for Dr. Grossman and the OC Wellness group. I have had post acne scars since I was 16. He did subcision with bellafill for my boxcar scars and it has honestly been a life changer. I can finally wear makeup without the texture showing through! I will definitely be back. Attached is a before and after photo - neither have a filter.
