I have been seeing Dr Egerter to help with cervical instability I’ve been dealing with for years. I’ve had falls and a car accident in the past, but one event 12 years ago changed my life. Someone attacked me from behind and I was knocked unconscious. Ever since that moment, gradually over the years, I began to experience a variety of frightening neurological symptoms. I was suffering from lower back pain for three months after a bad fall from bouldering. I thought that with stretches, physical therapy, a few sessions of body work, acupuncture, and time would make it go away. But it became so debilitating that I could barely get up from a sit to stand position without immense pain. I felt like I had exhausted all of my options, but my partner introduced me to Alex’s practice. After my first appointment with Alex, he was able to immediately pinpoint the exact cause of my lower back pain: my sacral iliac joint was inflamed and pulling at every muscle around it. No amount of massage, rolling, or stretching could’ve targeted my issue. He focused on osteopathic manipulation of my hip, knee, and spine to realign my body; thereby releasing all the inflammation in my SI joint. Within the first 30 minutes of that first session, I was already 80% back to baseline. I was able to get back to my usual activities and hobbies after 2 sessions. My partner had been seeing Alex for prolotherapy for his bad knee and saw reduction in pain and improvement in mobility. I was skeptical at first because I’ve never heard of this treatment before. But I’ve had several whiplash in the past due to getting rear-ended and multiple bad falls from bouldering. These repeated injuries on my neck has caused intermittent headaches, vertigo, and limited mobility. All the neck exercises and stretches that I’ve been doing have hit their limit so I decided to give prolotherapy a try. I’ve done 3 sessions of prolotherapy already and have noticed that I can bend my neck backwards and holding it in that position without needing to use my hand for support. Also, my headaches aren’t as frequent. I’m so thankful for Alex’s knowledge and healing hands. I thought that the chronic pain, discomfort, and reduced mobility was my new normal, but it’s simply amazing to be able to feel like myself again and do the things that I love. Alex is also great at explaining things and helps me understand my body better. I highly recommend Alex to anyone who wants to maintain the most optimal body function at any stage of their life!

Dr Egerter is amazing! I can’t recommend him enough. I have only had two rounds of prolotherapy on my neck and one on a badly healed scar and my pain has already been reduced from constant 9/10 pain to 2/10 in both places.
