Remedy Rx Compounding Pharmacy Bay Area

Definitely recommend. Very responsive. Plus nice to have a compound pharmacy local in case you might need to rush order and pickup vs have mailed to you. Very helpful on phone in explaining more complex prescriptions.

I highly recommend Remedy Rx Compounding Pharmacy. Pharmacist Chandani is excellent, knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. She answered my questions over the phone, and in person when I picked up my medication. She was able to prepare my chronic fatigue medication within 2 days of receiving my prescription. Thank you Chandani and team!

My son has a surgery Monday and his doctor prescribed tetracaine lillipops. I missed the part where I was supposed to order them from the pharmacy 2 weeks before his surgery. There was nothing Kaiser Pharmacy could do since these are outsourced to 3rd party compounding pharmacies. So I called around to local compounding pharmacies to see if I could have my son's doctor send the prescription to them. Insert Remedy Rx Compounding Pharmacy and specifically Shandani. She listened to my dilemma and together we started coming up with solutions! There's a bit involved in making the tetracaine lollipops so it wasn't looking promising to get those in a 1 business day turn around (understandable). But Shandani went over all the details anyways on how it would work. She then recommended a tetracaine oral rinse. (She also offered all of the other "caines" as alternatives.) She gave me the directions to call my son's doctor and agree on something so that we could send the prescription to Remedy Rx. After speaking with the Kaiser pharmacy rep who spoke to the doctor... they were able to prescribe an alternative that Kaiser had. (Yes I asked that in the beginning before bothering Remedy Rx and Shandani.) It wasn't until I told my son's pharmacy rep about Shandani's recommendations did they prescribe an alternative. Anyways... Shandani from Remedy Rx was awesome and extremely helpful. I hope to be able to give them business in the future or from this review. Much deserved.

I highly do not recommend using this pharmacy for compounding and delivery of medications. We call 2 weeks ahead of time before the refill is needed to ask for a refill and they say it will be delivered. We call to confirm 2-3 times throughout that 2 week wait and they still claim it will arrive and it just doesn’t show up. We call to ask why they always come up with a reason. Needs prior authorization, the doctor who prescribed it needs to confirm the dosage, etc etc. I then call the transplant doctor and everything is perfect in there end. This causing me to have to drive 8 hours to pick up this medication at LPCH pharmacy (who has zero trouble filling the order). I’ve had to do this 3 times in less than 12 months. Safeway compounding is horrible with horrible communication. If you want your medication delivered at all please try another pharmacy. There are very few of them and I think that’s why they just do not care, they know you have no other choice.

First time dealing with them went smoothly. Recently contacted them for a prescription refill and it got delayed by 1 week because 1. They got my credit card number wrong on file 2. They didn’t have my apartment number on file and ship the medication without apartment unit. Need to submit an address amendment to UPS and schedule for another delivery, this back and forth took 1 week. All of these despite they got my info right the first time around for my medications. I’m in pain over the past week without the medications. Seeing how they handle payment, client info and shipment, I wouldn’t trust them with formulation of medications.
