I’ve been seeing Dr. Sierra Storm at Rise Collective for about 4 months now, and she’s been amazing! I originally started working with her for trigger point care to help with pain around my surgical scars, and it’s made a huge difference—less pain, better movement, and even the scars themselves are lighter and flatter. She also helped me out after I sprained my ankle during treatment, which was such a bonus. Dr. Storm is super skilled (so fast with the needles!) and also one of the first doctors who’s really explained what’s going on with my thyroid. I’ve been seeing her for naturopathic treatment for hypothyroidism, and she’s helped me understand how my hormones and medications actually work, which no one’s ever really done before. My journey with Dr Storm began 15 years after I had reconstructive knee surgery as a teenager. The recovery of that incident had left me with a decrease in sensitivity of the skin around the scar as well as a significantly smaller range of motion. She treated the scar perhaps 2-3 times which, in turn, radically improved the function of my entire left leg. Since then, she has been my go-to, first stop for all issues around pain in my body. No question. She has treated both of my achilles tendons, she has treated my elbows and thumbs which, can only be described as feeling 'arthritic', she also performed prolo-therapy on my shoulder which, undoubtedly is keeping me from needing a surgery of some sort. This was one of the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. I went in to see Dr Storm because I was experiencing severe pain in my knee after hernia surgery. She met with me and I explained to her where my pain was and my pain level and discomfort. She did a treatment on me and I felt amazing immediately! I also told her about an old shoulder surgery and the lack of mobility. However, after an injection I felt amazing and now have mobility in my shoulder like I haven’t had in years!
