Visited the office as a new patient and had a HORRIBLE experience. I definitely would NOT recommend, especially if you are a person of color. I myself work in the medical field & was recommended this office by several individuals. Since I live a couple blocks away I thought it would be perfect for me. However my experience was by far the worst I have ever had at an appointment. I was a few minutes early for my appointment, rang the doorbell and was not let in. The receptionist at the front desk, saw me standing at the door and would not let me in. I called twice and recieved no answer. I waited 5 minutes until another woman approached the door, rang the bell & was immediately let in. Upon our arrival the receptionist greeted the other patient but not myself, & tried to service her first despite me being there first. The other patient was kind enough to inform the receptionist that I was here first. While checking in with the receptionist she had a horrible, mean, nasty attitude. She seemed bothered by my presence & her tone was completely different to me than the other patient (myself being a woman of color and the other patient being white). Absolutely unacceptable. Later on during my appointment with the physician, she would not look me in my eye, and barely spoke to me. It seemed as though she was rushing to get me out of there, the appointment was only about 10 minutes long. I explained to her that I had been eager to find a new physician, yet she had no urgency to make me feel comfortable nor welcomed in the office. At the end of the appointment she informed me that she would be back in a moment with some forms. I waited for her to come back since I had questions to conclude our visit. Instead the nurse practitioner came back, handed me the forms and informed me how to get out of the office. I was completely left alone in the back of the building, in an office in an area I was unfamiliar with. When I checked out with the receptionist, she still had a negative attitude, sighed and rolled her eyes when I had questions. I have been a receptionist for many companies and would gladly train your receptionist on how to appropriately handle interactions with guests. Overall during my visit I interacted with 3 different employees of the office, and not one was friendly, welcoming or kind which is absolutely not what I expected based off of how they portray themselves online. It was very disappointing to see my white counterparts being treated better than I. Do not come here!

I’ve been a patient of RWWC since 2006 and started under the care of Dr. Leslie Saltzman. Through Dr. Saltzman’s consistently professional care and genuine concern, I was inspired to lose over 100 lbs through lifestyle changes. Over the past 3 years, I’ve noticed a dramatic decline in service at RWWC. While I understand the various pressures that healthcare professionals are experiencing, there is no excuse for the recent experience I just had. First, I live with a physical disability and regardless of reminding the front desk in advance that I need the accessible exam room located on the 1st floor prior to my appointments, this request is never noted in my file. I have to also remind them upon arrival. Just last month, my nurse practitioner placed a highly alarming call to me on a Sunday afternoon which created panic over an EKG result that was actually a false positive. The biggest insult is that she openly admitted that she was calling me from her car while on her way to a party. I very recently within the past 2 days had an EKG that was normal, ruling out a heart issue. I do not appreciate being called on a Sunday without thorough and proper review of my EKG by my doctor. Last week, I had a Telehealth appointment with my nurse practitioner because I’d been feeling low energy and under the weather. I went to get the prescribed bloodwork just days following the appointment, emailed over the bloodwork on Tuesday of this week to RWWC, and I’ve heard nothing back. As it turns out, I was having a progressively worsening RA flare that wound me in the ER all day on Wednesday. When I urgently called the RWWC office in a panic on Wednesday morning asking for a doctor to please review my bloodwork as I was in so much pain that I couldn’t walk or get out of bed, I was met with a dismissive RN on the phone who told me that no doctor was available or had the time to review my bloodwork. Still, no doctor from RWWC - not even my own nurse practitioner I had my Telehealth appointment with - has called me to review the bloodwork. It is now Friday. This is highly unacceptable. Furthermore, every time I come in for an appointment, this practice is overbooked. Please do better by your patients and be the true stewards and advocates for women’s health that you once were. This current situation is equally shameful, disrespectful, and dangerous to your patients.

I have been a patient here for probably 15ish years; some experiences have been better than others. However, in the past 3 years, I have seen just two people: Alicia Loper and (just recently) Katherine Olmstead. Both are nurse practitioners, and both are excellent: caring, patient, thorough, and comforting. They both know how to be professional without sacrificing warmth, and I never felt rushed, judged, or misunderstood by either one. Highly recommend.

I do not recommend. My appointment with Dr. Faust-Rakos lasted no more than 3-4 minutes and was rushed and impersonal. She did not provide attentive or thorough care. The office comes off as very $$$ driven, nickel-and-diming at every opportunity. For example, before I even entered the exam room, I was asked to sign a waiver stating that discussing any “problem/issue” during the visit could result in additional fees. This is something I have never encountered at a medical practice.

I have been back and forth with an insurance issue for weeks. Stefanie from rwwc spent several hours on the phone with blue cross trying to get it resolved. She was dillligent and did not just give up after the 1st attempt. This however does not surprise me as Dr Satltzman from the same practice is just as thoughtful. I didn't know they still made doctor's that cared. She often surprises me with the amount of compassion and empathy she shows. I am eternally grateful that I have found her.
