Script works is amazing! My dog has a progressive chronic illness and needed an emergency cough medication phoned in/compounded. The medication was phoned in and arrived at my house the next day after I asked for a rush. I never thought it would come that quickly, but it did! Thank you all SO MUCH! Anyone else (cough Wedgewood pharmacy cough) would have taken 7-10 days or more. I am so thankful to have my pet's medications managed by ScriptWorks. I’ve been using this place for approx 8+ years. I’m not sure if they changed owners or management in the last 18 -24 months but service has definitely declined. I have to call 2 and 3 times to get my refills now and then it takes another 7-14 days before I receive them and I’m located approx 40 miles from their Walnut Creek facility. About the time they “upgraded” their automated phone service I’ve had issues.

I would like to express my appreciation to Celeste as well as Alexys. I had a change in providers and had to look for a specialist that would be willing to refill my existing prescription for HRT. Some providers do not have experience with compounding pharmacy and are uncomfortable with sending a prescription. Both these ladies have been so helpful, and have great customer service. Alexys was able to email me my prescription so I can present it to my PCP for a refill while I find a specialist to help continue my care with HRT. Thank you to both these wonderful ladies!

Update: Bob reached out (you can see his response below), and his team was able to correct the 3 prescriptions and charge me the difference. Amending the rating for their willingness and speed to address the issue. Original Review: We've been going to Scriptworks for the past 4 years since moving to Walnut Creek, spending thousands on Rx for our pet. Double check the prescription before you walk out the door because they will refuse to fix any issues once you step out the door. I had 3 prescriptions today, each for 90-day supply. There was a miscommunication between the doctor and the pharmacy during the refill, and we got only 30-day refills (vet says they gave 90, Scriptworks says only 30, who to believe?). It's not a huge deal except the unit cost for 30 days is much higher than 90 (by about 70% more). They offered to confirm with the doctor for future orders, but will not consider fixing the current refill because my husband walked out the pharmacy before checking the order. I had asked whether we can come right back and trade the 30 days for 90 days. No. What if we fill the next 60 days now and pay the difference? No. So, take this as a word of caution if you decide to give them your business. They have been fine when everything goes well, but not eager to work with you if there's a problem. Note you also have options other than Scriptworks. For example, you can get your pet's compounding needs through Brava (used to be Golden Gate Pharmacy) based in Novato with free shipping. Chewy also offers compounding for certain medications, with an ever growing list.

This Pharmacy is the best! Not only do they have a super convenient text line, but they also have fixed issues graciously. One time my kitty got nauseous with a liquid medication so they prepared a transdermal for free. Then my package got lost and they redid the medication, very quickly too. So I know I can always count on Scriptsworks and trust them with my pets' needs! Thank you Scriptworks!! ❤️
