This pharmacy, unfortunately, really sucks! I've been a fairly patient customer for about a year now. It's a 50/50 for me if they have the medication available on the day they have told me it's available. I am moving to a different pharmacy now after a month of waiting for a medication that will be available "tomorrow" or "next week". I do not understand how they have such great reviews. Edit: the day after this review they called me and we were able to figure it out, still a bit frustrating but they are willing to work with you
Switching to this pharmacy is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Polite, efficient, respectful staff. I used to wait hours for prescriptions with Walgreens and now I know I can get my meds quickly and reliably. Staff has been especially helpful with helping me get my meds that are controlled substances.
I would strongly consider filling only non-life essential medication with this pharmacy. I was excited to be supporting an independent & Black owned pharmacy. I tried to be understanding when they failed to fill a medication I severely needed and had to go out of town without as a result. Even when I came back into town, the medication still had not been filled. I had left three voicemails and even gone in person to confirm my medication would be waiting when I came back. Because I travel for a living, I had to leave town without it a second time. I have transferred my prescriptions back to Walgreens, as I have to ensure this does not happen again. I was hesitant to leave a negative review as I really want to see this business succeed so please give them a chance if you are thinking of supporting them, but if it's a Critical medication like insulin, perhaps consider filling it elsewhere....
Listed closing time is 6 but a couple times now they have been closed before 6. When most people get off work around 4:30/5pm how are they supposed to get their medication when the pharmacy is always closed early? This isn't something like Tylenol where you can just pop on over to another store.
Just went here for the first time today and they were great. I forgot how good it feels to speak to an actual person on the phone, without needing to spend 15 minutes speaking with an automated system to end up leaving a voicemail. Had my prescription ready in 30 minutes, and it’s locally owned. What more could you ask for? Forget CVS or Walgreens and just come here instead
