Spartan Pharmacy

I had gone to Spatan for years on Clairton blvd and loved it there. I knew I was in for it right from the start because the Manager or Pharmacist started yelling at me over the phone when trying to communicate about some refill issues after transferred from a different pharmacy. It was out of my character to continue going there after the incident. There were errors with my refills on a regular basis. The medicine I take is something that if errors are made could make me suffer terribly.The most recent issue today was my frustration again about something. I have worked in customer service my whole life and know it is definitely wrong for a staff member yell back at a customer.This evening I was told to go somewhere else. When I wanted my prescriptions put on auto refill I was given a bad attitude like I was a trouble for my request. Nobody should be dealing with people at a business if they are yelling and I am one hundred percent it's the pharmacist because the workers don't know if they are coming or going. Very frightening. The first interaction had me in tears

Spartan Pharmacy in Bethel Park is amazing! Friendly staff, fast service, and real care. Way better than the big chains—they treat you like family and make everything easy. Highly recommend!

I needed medication for my elderly dog who takes seizures and needed a compounded prescription. The large chain would not or could not do it, so I went to Spartan Pharmacy. Everyone was very knowledgeable, helpful and very kind. Even though this medication had to be compounded, it was ready the next day. I can't thank them enough and want them to know how much I appreciated their efforts.

Spartan came through and overnighted our medicine when we accidentally left it at home when we went on vacation. CVS said it would take 3 days to fill a transferred script. Great customer service and support from Spartan on South Park Rd. This is why you go to an independent pharmacy.
