This was my first time ever using Sullivan’s Pharmacy, and that experience was entirely shaped by Ali from the compounding department. My daughter had surgery on Tuesday and has been in a lot of pain. She needs to alternate between Tylenol and Motrin, but she has not been tolerating oral medications. While Tylenol suppositories were available, Motrin suppositories needed to be specially compounded, and only a few pharmacies in the area are able to make them. With a storm coming and my daughter in severe pain, I spent hours calling different pharmacies. Many did not have the supplies, others said it would take too long to get them, and some were unwilling to help even after I explained how urgent the situation was. Ali was the only person who truly showed empathy and took my situation to heart. Ali went above and beyond in a way I will never forget. She stayed well past her shift, personally contacted the providers herself, and made sure the prescription was received so my daughter would not go the entire weekend without pain medication. She did not have to do any of this — but she chose to, simply because she cared. As a parent, seeing your child in pain is heartbreaking, and Ali’s kindness, compassion, and dedication meant more to me than I can put into words. Because of her, my daughter got the medication she desperately needed. I will be forever grateful to Ali, and she is the reason I will continue to use this pharmacy and recommend it to anyone!
Sullivans pharmacy is truly exceptional in every way. Sullivan’s Pharmacy and Medical Supply has always been the best! The staff are usually incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. I’ve always appreciated the high standard of service they provide. However, I want to share an experience I had today November 26, 2025 that was disappointing. I received a phone call from a staff member who introduced herself as Monique regarding coverage for new test strips sent by my family member provider’s office. Unfortunately, the conversation did not go well. Monique spoke over me, did not allow me to fully explain the situation, and even implied I was being untruthful when I tried to let her know that I had previously called the pharmacy about this issue. When I couldn’t provide the name of the person I had spoken with before, her tone became dismissive. I requested to speak with the pharmacist, and she responded with attitude, saying, “The pharmacist will tell you the same thing,” before placing me on hold and not returning. I hung up and called back, and thankfully I was connected with Pharmacist Ariana. I truly appreciate her professionalism and kindness—she listened, understood the issue, and resolved it quickly without any difficulty. I hope Sullivan’s Pharmacy continues to uphold the high standard of service that sets them apart by ensuring all staff treat customers with care and respect. Customer service is key in any business, and I trust they will address this so every patient can continue to have a positive experience.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I contacted sullivans a few days to a week ago asking for my catheters to be refilled, which have been filled from sullivans 2-3x already. I got a voicemail today saying my insurance was inactive, which I immediately knew was untrue because another DME provider just processed an order from me 2 days ago. I called sullivans and insured them that my insurance is active and that it has to be an error in their system. They said they could not send out my catheters “until given an active insurance” and that I should “call my insurance”. I told them before I hung up that my insurance was going to say that my insurance IS active. I Immediately called CCA onecare who has been my insurance for years. The DME agent I spoke to said yes my insurance is active and asked for sullivan’s phone number so she could call them. She called them, waited on hold, and when she herself FROM MY INSURANCE’s DME DEPARTMENT said my insurance was active, apparently that wasn’t enough. So sullivans has still refused to fill my prescription for urinary catheters which I use every day and need to be able to not have chronic urinary retention that could lead to a bladder rupture. If I run out of catheters before CCA can find me another supplier, I will be forced to go to the ER and get a Foley catheter placed, and that increases my risks for an antibiotic resistant UTI because I already am being treated for a UTI as we speak. I am genuinely frightened at the lack of care and lack of proper systems and procedures at this pharmacy. Why is my insurance showing as inactive in your system? Is it even, or am I just being discriminated against? Who will ever know. I will reporting this pharmacy to anyone and everyone who will take a report including the attorney general and the governing body on pharmacies in the area. It is NOT worth it to take your business here- they can decide at any time to not fill your prescription and tell you that the reason is you don’t have active insurance and that is just a damn blatant lie.
