They filled a prescription that was 2 1/2 times potency of what I should be taking and they didn’t catch the error and they made me pay $300 for it. It’s the first time I’m using this pharmacy. I use their curbside pick up, not understanding that because they walked the medication out of the building that I cannot hand it back to them. At no point do they warn you that that is a fault of curbside pick up. So they happily have my money and I can do nothing with this medication. Plus they use non-PCI compliant systems to take your credit card information so not only can you get screwed about your medication you can get burned with your credit cards
Highly impressed with this pharmacy. The first time I used the pharmacy the staff went way above and beyond to help me figure out a problem with my prescription/provider. I give high marks for care and concern for their customers as well as affordable medication and a reliable delivery service.
This was an incredibly frustrating experience. My doctor sent my prescription on Thursday, and when I called right away to ask when it would be ready, I was told 1–3 business days and that I could pay when I pick it up. The next day I called to check the status and was told the prescription had not even been processed because I hadn’t paid yet, which completely contradicted what I was told earlier. When I explained that I was told payment could be done in person, the staff member still insisted they needed my payment information before they could even start processing it. After I finally gave them my payment information, I was told Monday would now be considered “day 1,” meaning it could take until Wednesday for the medication to be ready. Meanwhile my symptoms have been getting worse while waiting. Also, if it realistically takes three full business days, why tell patients “1–3 business days” in the first place? That wording implies there’s a chance it could be ready sooner, but in reality the process didn’t even begin until several days later. The biggest issue here is the inconsistent information and lack of clear communication, which directly caused unnecessary delays.
Everything went smoothly. The RX was exactly as prescribed. My Dr. was very happy with the formulation. They immediately supplied the forms for my insurance. Reasonably priced.
I'm a long-time customer, and unfortunately Koshland has gone severely downhill over the past 5 years. I'm not sure if there's new management or new employees or what. Orders lost, phone calls not returned, exceptionally slow service. They are polite (which is a rarity these days), but does that matter if you don't get your prescription, or if it's wrong? The last 4 times my prescription has renewed, I've waited (and I kept track): 19 days, 28 days, 37(!) days, and now- I'm on 34 days, and they say they are overnighting it, over a holiday weekend. All when they promise 7-10 business days. Only use them if you have deep backstock of meds you can burn through, or if your meds are not critical, because you will be without!
