TLDR: unreliable, canceled a rx with no notice and no time for me to find it elsewhere. Really disappointing. I've had a pretty terrible experience with this pharmacy. About 6 months ago I started filling a compounded prescription with them. 10 days ago, with 2 weeks of the medication left, I called to request a refill. They took my order as usual and said the medication would arrive in 5-7 days. Today, with only 4 days of medication left, I realized it had not arrived and I called to check on it. Initially the person I talked to said they had only received the ingredients yesterday and would be processing my order, but it would take 5-7 days to arrive. I asked about ways to expedite it and when I was told that was not possible I asked to speak to a manager. After waiting about 15 minutes, the same individual got back on and said the pharmacy had decided to no longer compound this medication, and so the recent ingredients would be returned. So not only did I not get a notification when the medication was delayed because of the ingredients, now they are refusing to fill the prescription at all and leaving me no time to find somewhere else to fill it before I run out. This is a medication I depend on daily, which is why I made sure to call so far in advance to get it refilled. Its incredibly disappointing that a business in a line of work this critical does not have systems in place to notify people in advance if a medication is going to be delayed or can't be filled. What takes this from disappointing to infuriating is that they actually have the ingredients to fill the prescription, but I was told that because they won't be compounding this medication any longer, they are returning the ingredients that just arrived. I'm guessing that if they use the ingredients to fill my order alone it wont cover the cost of the bulk order. If they need to make a business decision to no longer compound this medication, I totally understand. But to do it without any notice to their customers and refusing to fill the last order when they know I have no chance of getting it from somewhere else before I run out is beyond infuriating, and feels like it should almost be illegal. And of course to top it all off, after repeated requests to speak with a manager or a pharmacist to get some more answers I was told I could not. The customer service agent I spoke with did apologize, if only half-heartedly, but clearly no one senior cares. I saw all the bad reviews on this pharmacy when I started using them but my first couple of experiences were fine so I gave them a shot. Don't make that mistake. They're undependable and apparently uninterested in their customers health and that's just not acceptable for a pharmacy responsible for critical medications.
Mr. Francis HELPED me so much !!! I appreciate his hard work !!! I will always come back because he helped me when others wouldn't! I give this establishment a 5 stars just because I was help by Francis. Best customer service! EVER!!!
I've used Partell Pharmacy for years and over the past 2 years or so it's seriously gotten bad and gone downhill! Nobody calls you back. When you call the people that answer don't seem to know anything. There's absolutely no sense of urgency! They received my prescription order and are saying they need 3 business days to fill. Then they have to delivery it. I'm taking my business elsewhere. Ridiculous and for the prices I have to pay for my compound, I expect more!
Customer service is non existent. Two days went by without anyone contacting me regarding my urgent prescription. I had to call them, was told oh we are short staffed but we can have this ready by *probably* end of next week, no promises. Guy on the phone just could not be bothered. Anyway, my Dr had to call the owner to resolve but yes confirmed they are short staffed and can’t keep up with orders. !!! The issues with poor customer service, no calls back, etc are well known in the industry. My advice is to use literally any other compounding pharmacy in the area. Try Meta.
On my last visit to my dermatologist for my yearly skin check I asked him to call me in some bleaching cream to help with some sun spots/freckles on my hairline and he told me he would call me in an RX. Not sure why it went here & not CVS, which is my pharmacy I use??? I got a call from Partell pharmacy shortly after my RX was sent in asking me to call them. Once I got around to calling them back I spoke to a girl who was asking me if I had an account with them & I told her "no" that I've never heard of them nor used them. I voiced to her that I had no idea why my RX got called into them? She didn't have an answer for me either. She asked me a couple more questions and asked me again if I had an account with them, I said "You've already asked me that and I don't." This was concerning like "are you not even listening to me? Are you sure you know what your doing?" lol When I asked about insurance she told me that they don't insurance?? Really? That's weird. She told me my RX was going to be $53.00!! YIKES!! So expensive $$$$. She asked me if I wanted to come in to pick it up or have it mailed to me for $5.00? I told her I would pick it up. She told me that when the RX was ready that they would send me a text, which would include their store hours. A couple days later I got a text from them telling me that my RX was ready & it had their store hours. It was shortly after Christmas & I had told her it would be a few days before I would be able to come pick it up when she told me that they would be processing my order. A few days had gone by & I got another text from them telling me that my RX has been ready for 5 days and that after 14 days from date of fill that they would be returning it back to the shelf. I was able to go to their store yesterday to pick it up. Place was easy to find. I saw two doors & on the left door it said to use the door on the right to get in but it was locked. I looked down further & saw another set of doors & those ones got me in. I was greeted twice by two different people upon entering that someone would be right with me. I quickly was looking around to see what they had and saw a bunch of bottles. Guessing that they were vitamins & supplements? I waited at the counter and Jessica V. came to the counter & got my info from me. She wasn't the friendliest, seemed stressed? I didn't have my FSA CC on me so I went to use my debit card. They had the capability to do the touchless system with your debit card but then it wanted me to enter my PIN # then sign for my transaction....so stupid. It defeats the whole purpose of the touchless system. Thank God there is a nice big bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter. When I get a chance I'm going to call my insurance company to see if this drug is covered, my guess since its more of a cosmetic drug that they probably don't. It is very expensive for the small amount I got. If I can't get it somewhere else thats cheaper or if its covered by my insurance then there won't be a need for me to come back here.
