Can’t even begin to describe how infuriating it was to get a prescription filled here. This was my first experience with Preston’s. My vet sent over a prescription. At first, the pharmacy told me that they didn’t receive it and I had to go to Falls Church. After showing them an email from my vet and a text message from this location, they changed their tune and said it would be an hour until it was ready. When I came back an hour later, it still wasn’t ready. Although they didn’t have the time to fill my prescription, they still had the time to show each other TikToks and mess with their phones. When you hear about mom and pop pharmacies dying off, it’s because of crap like this. If you have to get your prescription filled, highly recommend somewhere else.

Very disappointed in their customer service. Hospital said my mom needed a quad cane so bought my mom what was labeled as a quad cane for her to use post hospital stay, but the quad at the bottom isn’t stable enough. Came back 2 weeks later to return it and saw they have actual quad canes in stock now, even better I could exchange for an actual quad, but they refused because said their new return policy is 7 days. 7 days! I had the receipt which I had purposely checked before driving back there and it said 30 days. They said they haven’t been able to update the receipts (even though said they made this change 2 months ago) but posted signs around saying 7 days. For a store that’s closed on Sunday and has limited hours it’s difficult to make it back in 7 days, especially when recovering from a hospital stay. I held on to the receipt for reference but apparently Receipts don’t take priority over up a taped up piece of paper only seen when in store. Loved the idea of a local pharmacy but staff was very young, and seemed to care less and treated me like an inconvenience. Sticking to CVS and Amazon.

If I could give negative 100 stars to these guys I would. These people don't deserve to be in medical field with the amount of care and patience they have. They look for every opportunity to hang up or transfer you to a line which never picks up. If you don't have the patience to listen to the caller and listen to the list of prescriptions they have how do you even do your job? How do you hire folks who have no patience for you to finish your order? They could not wait for me to say medicine 1, medicine . Initially they play a game of telling other pharmacy has your prescription, as if you have no awareness of where your prescription is, then they transfer you to a technician line that doesn't get picked up after 20 mins plus, then only fill one of your prescriptions and talk extremely rude to you for asking to finish a sentence. There are zillion problems with customer facing people. The only reason they might be surviving is for the quality of medicine.

I had left a review for Preston Pharmacy a while ago and got no acknowledgment. Unfortunately, nothing about the attitude of this store has improved if anything, it’s only gotten worse. I’ve been an active guest here for a long time and had built a real connection with two amazing employees, Marta and Assata. They always went above and beyond to help customers, and they treated me with kindness and respect every single time. Recently, I asked a worker about them, only to find out they were terminated. That news truly shocked and saddened me. As a Black woman, I’ve experienced different and frankly worse treatment here compared to other customers. That alone makes me question how this management treats their employees of color behind the scenes. The way Marta and Assata were treated before they were let go felt off, and the termination itself seems extremely suspicious. Preston’s Pharmacy lost two incredible employees who genuinely cared about their customers and created a welcoming environment. They were the reason I kept coming back despite the overall negative energy in the store. Now, with them gone, there’s nothing left keeping me here. Preston’s, you’ve lost my trust and my business. I will be taking it elsewhere somewhere that values both its customers and its employees equally.

I had felt some health issues and was in need of high blood pressure and the people there went beyond what I asked for in the most Christian and family friendly way. I couldn't be more happy. They made me feel safe and comfortable and really helped. I wish I knew their names. Who ever can share this message thank y'all so much for what y'all did for me and it will never be forgotten. :)
