My Husband was diagnosed with a torn meniscus of his knee. He did not want to have knee surgery. He had a PRP (blood) with fat graft. The procedure took 2 1/2 hrs. There was not to much pain associated with the harvesting of the fat and blood, however the knee injection did hurt. He was given medication for the pain. His knee did swell the next few days. He was back to work in a couple of days. As of today, His knee is terrific. He is back to running and doing all the things he like to do. I would highly recommend the StemMd team and Dr. Purita
