Dan Asti represents what healthcare should be—but rarely is. I was referred to Dan Asti’s South Hills Pharmacy through Children’s Hospital after a major chain pharmacy repeatedly failed to keep my daughter’s insulin in stock—even though we live across the street from it. With Dan’s pharmacy, my daughter’s insulin and diabetic supplies are mailed and are never late, often early. Dan even personally texts me to confirm deliveries arrive exactly when they’re supposed to. On Christmas Eve, after his pharmacy had already closed, Dan stayed and waited over an hour for a prescription to be called in for my sick child. He filled it after hours and then personally delivered the medication to my home in holiday traffic so my children would be okay over the holiday. The day after Christmas, he reached out again just to check on how my daughter was feeling. That kind of care isn’t standard—it’s rare. Dan Asti goes far beyond the role of a pharmacist, and our family is incredibly grateful.

I wish I would have found out about this Top Notch pharmacy years ago. Being on 2 complicated meds, turns out, it was the BIG corporate pharmacy making them complicated. The staff at Astis are the utmost professional and most helpful when in need. Thank you for this and a great mail order service.

Dan Asti goes above and beyond for his patients. We were suppose to receive my son's diabetic supplies on Saturday. We were completely out of pumps and my son was due for a pump change. Dan drove to our house at almost 7pm on Saturday to drop off pumps for my son. It's about and hour and half to two hour drive one way to the pharmacy. Highly recommend this pharmacy.

The best pharmacy!! They go above and beyond for their patients. Specifically Rachael the pharmacist. She has caught medication errors from my doctor and is so thorough with her care. I will never stop coming here!

As a local business owner I have always gone out of my way to support local businesses over the major national pharmaceutical brands. When I found Asti's South Hills pharmacy, I figured I would give them a shot at managing my medication refills. I was referred to the pharmacy by my doctor. At first, I was stunned that my doctor would recommend a pharmacy that is nearly 25 minutes from my home. I routinely pass numerous other pharmacies traveling to Asti's, but it was a recommendation that I absolutely couldn't be more thankful for. The service that I discovered at Asit's is simply unmatched. Over the past three or four years, I have consistently been beyond pleased with the care, kindness, and the unmatched customer service experience that I have experienced at their store since I made the switch to Asti's pharmacy. The staff know your name, care about you, and offer a personalized service that you simply wouldn't expect at a pharmacy, and is unheard of at the major pharmacy retailers. Asti's consistently goes above and beyond in all ways to be sure that my (somewhat extensive list of medications) is managed and maintained with the highest level of service that I have experienced among the pharmacies in the entire Pittsburgh area. While I haven't tried EVERY locally owned pharmacy I would be willing to hold Asti's level of excellence up to any other pharmacy in the region and Asti's I am fully confident they would take the prize. I would encourage anyone in the Pittsburgh area to make the switch to Asti's South Hills pharmacy, and can assure you that you will be just as pleased as I am month after month with the quality of care and service provided by Asti's.
