Dr. Ethan Kellum - Regenerative Solutions

STRONGLY RECOMMEND! As someone who ran hospitals for 30 years I know medicine fairly well and can discern good physicians even better. I chose Dr. Kellum for treatment of a torn rotator cuff after consulting with two other well known orthopedic surgeons who insisted surgery was the only choice for a .75 in tear. Dr. Kellum made NO promises but was optimistic. The procedures went very well and I had almost no pain. After 20 follow up PT rehab treatments I went from VERY restricted movement to TOTAL movement. That was 5 years ago! and I am still doing incredibly well. STRONGLY RECOMMEND him.

When I saw Dr. Kellum I was in intense pain. I had stem cell therapy performed on both of my knees; I had immediate pain relief. I am writing this review 6 weeks after the procedure, I can report my progress nothing short of astonishing. My knees continue to get stronger each day and I'm preparing for a 27-mile hike. We just left the Kellim Stem Cell Institute for the second time with my dad for treatment on his spine. Everyone in the front office was extremely friendly, Dr. Mehta was very kind and explained both processes. BY FAR THE BEST PART OF THE EXPERIENCE IS LILLIAN. She is extremely comforting, kind, funny, calming, and very honest and open about what to expect. Every time we leave there, we talk about how great she is. During this last procedure, the pain level got a bit heavy for my father, but she was explaining the procedure to him step by step so he would be prepared, calming him and touching him reminding home to breathe. She is by far the heart and soul of the operation at Kellum. Our only issue is the communication style of the money manager. Our total investments(the treatments we were sold to be the best for our dad’s spinal stenosis) totaled over 33k To get the cash, he cashed out an IRA and it was slow in getting deposited in the bank. We had shown proof from the bank it had been cashed out and we had arranged to pay in a couple of payments while waiting for it to clear. In the middle of preparing for the procedure, as my dad is laying on the table, the money manager comes in shaking our check in my fathers face yelling “we don’t do business like this” and things about “paying in full”. We were shocked at how unprofessional this interaction was. Fast forward to this visit, a mixup happened on our treatment and we were not given an IV we had paid $5500 for. Turns out they localized the treatment instead of an IV. Everyone was apologetic except for the finance manager who tried to sell us on that that was the best situation instead of admitting to the mess up. He’s entire demeanor is confrontational and shady both times we dealt with him. It’s a shame to leave with that bad taste in our mouth because Lilian and the rest of the crew are so good. I will return back with an updated review on the actual results of the procedure.

I had stem cell in my knee when other doctors said all they would do is a total knee. I am 4 years out. Really appreciated Dr. Kellum’s knowledge and approach. Nothing is guaranteed but he felt i was a good candidate. Would highly recommend Dr. Kellum
