After two years of being at an office where I wasn’t making progress with HRT I finally went to see Dr. John after being in the hospital. He and his staff have helped me recover from being over medicated from traditional western medicine modalities. Now I’m on the right dose of thyroid medication and the right dose of HRT…. Dr. John is one of the best doctors I've ever had. As someone who has played soccer all my life, both in college and professionally, and has undergone four knee surgeries (two on each knee, including both ACLs), finding him was a stroke of luck through an internet search. My traditional orthopedic surgeon had suggested steroid shots for my knee arthritis, which only treated the symptoms rather than addressing the root cause of the inflammation. From my first appointment with Dr. John, it was clear that he was committed to treating the underlying issue and genuinely wanted to help me get better. For nearly a decade, I’ve been dealing with chronic pain and ongoing mid-thoracic back problems resulting from a previous back injury. It has also caused some other health issues that I have been trying to heal from. I was lead to Dr. Stavrakos from another doctor who told me that prolotherapy would help. I've now had five sessions and have experienced healing in my mid upper back and I believe it has been helping with my overall health issues!
