As per usual at Northern Pharmacy, there is a 25-minute wait on a prescription that's called in every month a week in advance. Same story every single time. Incompetence and it's finest. Update, 25 minutes still standing here. Have been asked by another employee what my medication was and what I'm waiting for. It's 30 tablets. They emailed me that it was ready and here I stand late for a meeting again.
I emailed my prescription for a breast pump once received last Monday 1/5. I received an email that I would be contacted within 4 business hrs. Did not happen. I waited until Friday, hoping I would get a call or an email. Nothing. I called on Friday 1/9. The lady who answered stated she didn’t have access to the email inbox my prescription was emailed to and asked me to send to their intake email. I did, along with a copy of my insurance card. Lady told me she would input a message that my order needed to be expedited since I had not been contacted in 4 days. Also I was scheduled to deliver my baby the next week. I was told someone would contact me by phone and to “keep my line open”. No call. I called again today, 1/12, lady answered the phone like she was irritated and rude. She cut me off when I was explaining I’ve not been contacted for a week. Then asked for my DOB and phone number and again I was told to “keep my line open”. I asked if I would be called today, as I was told the same thing on Friday and was not. She said yes. The whole day has gone been past, no call. I deliver in 3 days (1/15) and don’t have a pump abd still haven’t been contacted by phone or email. Horrible customer service and even worse communication. Do NOT use this place. Best to find another company and buy from them. No expecting mother should have to deal with this unnecessary stress.
I just want to thank Amy Creamer and her staff. They are invaluable to me as I navigating the Medicare and Blue Cross and Blue Shield regulations regarding my compression garments. They also works almost seamlessly with the GBMC staff in regards to my compression garments. They answer all of my questions sometimes repeatedly. They take time to explain the regulations they share information regarding their experiences with the various garments, helping me to make decisions on what would best work for me they remind me of important dates and deadlines regarding regulations and Medicare so that I don’t miss any deadlines thank you, Amy and staff for all you do. I look forward to more years of worry, free compliance thank you so much.
Called in a prescription at 9:30 Thursday morning 3/5/26. As of noon Sunday 3/8/26 my prescription has not yet been delivered. ( or was it delivered, but stolen? ) I called them Sunday at noon to see what's going on. After over an hour of being on hold, I decided to email them, and I also texted them, "to get a quicker response" as suggested on the hold recording. It's now three thirty on Sunday afternoon, and I haven't heard from anyone. If you need to talk to someone at this place on a weekend, I'd suggest going in person ( unless you like listening to the same message over and over and over again while you're on hold. ) because they sure as hell arent going to answer the phone.
For a few years my special needs child has been receiving his monthly supply and every single month it's late or I have to call and remind them he even needs it. The call center who answers the calls are always dumbfounded and have no answers. I'm a single mom and on a fixed income so his insurance covers these supplies but somehow I'm always spending a few hundred dollars a month because I'm not getting them on time and/or there is not enough supplies in the first place. It's so draining and time consuming to have to remind business that my child is a client and he's absolutely waiting to receive his supplies. Do Better because I'm definitely going to find a new supplier at my child's next doctor appointment. And as a even tougher pill to swallow, I've had to beg a neighbor to please give me my son's medical supplies back , because it was delivered to her house.
